If you do not wish to do this and keep it the same, DO NOT UPGRADE, NO REASON TOO! -*-*-*-*-*-*-*- What's It Do? It changes your Evox Skin to a random one installed. -*-*-*-*-*-*-*- How's it do it? By running before Evox with some simple File manipulation. Gets random skins by reading the Skins and looking at directory names. -*-*-*-*-*-*-*- NEW IN VERSION -*-*-*-*-*-*-*- How's I install it? Make a simple text file (included in sources) called xrnd.cnf and put it in the root of E. IT HAS TO BE IN THE ROOT OF E! Not neccisarily where xrnd is located, just in the root of E! In it have 2 lines. First line, letter of partition you want to use, i.e. C or E or F. Case INsensitive. Second line, name of EVOX executable you want to use, i.e. evox.xbe or ev012.xbe or kittycat.xbe . IT HAS TO END IN .xbe LOWER CASE!!!! Sample xrnd.cfg C evox.xbe or E evoxdash2.xbe or F ilovepizza.xbe Rename your evox executable (normally exoxdash.xbe) to what the 2nd line is in your config and put it in the root of the first line of your config Rename xrandom.xbe to evoxdash.xbe (OR WHATEVER LOADS FIRST FROM YOUR BIOS) and copy it to whatever the boot partition on your xbox is (Normally C). -*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Problems? 1st line of config is case INsenitive, put in C or c.. 2nd line NEEDS TO END IN .xbe ! LOWER CASE! Try at your own risk. Adds 1-2 seconds more load time. -*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Anything to stress? This is how it works. Bios->xrandom renamed to something that loads first -> whatever.xbe -*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Any other way of running it? Yup... You can just run xrandom.xbe from anywhere on the harddrive (or dvd for that matter) but it will try to run evox.xbe on C:. SO make sure you copy your evox to evox.xbe before trying this way. -*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Any improvements yet to be made? Maybe add settings like, how often to change it or not random but change them in order. Maybe make something appear on the screen, but probably not.
