FATXplorer will automatically install this updated runtime for you. - Driver updated to v24.0.9194. This is the most significant driver update in 2 years. The changes are mostly internal and limited to performance improvements, fixes, and code reorganization. This driver update will need to be manually installed after the update has completed. - XDON (Xbox Disk Over Network) -- XDON (Xbox Disk Over Network) is an app that runs on your Xbox that exposes storage devices over the network. It provides the ability to perform IO operations at a raw level using a simple protocol. -- When you wanted direct disk access in the past, you would have to remove your storage device from your console and connect it to your PC. With XDON, you can now leave your storage device in place and interact with it at network speeds. -- XDON is available for both the Original Xbox and Xbox 360. -- Click here for more information and download links: https://fatxplorer.eaton-works.com/xdon/ - At the request of team Cerbios, the default partition configuration when formatting disks for Cerbios has been updated. Instead of splitting space evenly between F & G, an F-takes-all approach is now used. - smartctl has been relocated to a folder named MSVC. For those making use of drivedb-add.h, back up this file before updating and then move it to MSVC after the update is complete. - The "Special Options" menu introduced in the last version had an issue where long device names could push it off the title bar and become inaccessible. It has been relocated to a drop-down menu above "Load Device". - Added a new check to advise users to try the "F-takes-all Override" option when FATXplorer determines that it may help. - Xbox 360 HDD Maker: Added "Safety checks enabled" option that disables safety checks and cryptographic verifications before flashing. This should only be used when directed to by FATXplorer support. - Xbox 360 HDD Maker: A lot of people believe this can be used with any HDD, so a warning message has been added that displays when a non-WD drive is selected. - Started the switch to Aptabase, a privacy-first alternative to VSAC. The toggle in Settings has been removed. - The expiration date has changed to October 1, 2025. ======================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================= |
